Christian Geuecke.

I am a senior Creative Strategist based out of Berlin, but I feel at home around the world.

A professional in the field of brand and marketing for over 13 years, I love to think beyond existing biases and boundaries, combining a global perspective from living and working across continents and different industries, turning them into results clients love.

A creative at heart, strategist by trade, MBA by training and unapologetic car culture and Japan enthusiast, I thrive solving problems. And when I don't, you can find me with my car, create art or purse one of my passion projects.

Brand Strategy

Brand Strategy can include many things. From purpose, to positioning, experience and architecture, each brand challenge is equally exciting and tailor-made to the client organization.

I support brand and cross-functional teams in making changes that create brands that are loved by audiences and endorsed from within organisations. I don't shy away from bold ideas or confronting clients with key bottlenecks that keep their brand from reaching audiences better and surpass their KPIs.

Marketing Strategy

Winning over customers is the goal of marketing.

I help identify the right moves to drive growth, from as early as product development and innovation, to identifying white spaces in a market, reshuffling product portfolios and driving go-to-market strategies.

Design Strategy

Whether you call my role design strategist or strategic designer, each new product and venture requires a human-centric approach to strategy, delving deep into user mindsets as much as distilling insights into high-level implications. Combining my expertise in strategy beyond digital products with more agile methods, design thinking, UX knowledge and research grounded in empathy and cultural finesse, I build the foundation to make businesses relevant to people. That means creating personas, user / customer journeys and stories that move design teams as much as decision makers.

Storytelling

From pitch to deliverable, what my work has to do is move audiences. Wrapping my work in engaging stories that make a point is something I have pushed myself to do in everything I touch.

And since a good story also depends on presentation I pride myself in visual quality that helps engage and looks great.

Automotive

I speak cars, breathe cars, live cars.

My first spoken word was reportedly 'Golf' and I was not referring to the sport. Cars and adjacent culture have shaped my private life as much as my professional one. Having worked both for a manufacturer (Nissan) and supported global car brands, I turn knowledge on how automotive organisations think and work and what is driving transformation into deliverables that actually make a difference.

Japan & East Asia

Japan and East Asia have always occupied a special place in my heart and mind. After graduating with a BA in Asian Studies, studying Japanese and Korean in Germany and Japan, I returned to Japan and worked in Japanese corporations for more than 6 years.

Equipped with above business-level language skills and cultural finesse I love to employ my expertise in related projects, bringing Western and Eastern cultural spheres closer together.

Right Brain, Left Brain, Big Heart

Delving into trends, consumer insights, data is important in my role. But turning those insights into a vision for a bigger picture that not only solves problems but inspires is something that I know a thing or two about. As MBA with a background in humanities and passion for art and design I combine the hard with the soft skills, bridging a gap that so often hinders real change. And since I got into all of this starting with qualitative insights I listen and empathise with consumers and clients alike.
